Licensing

There are two licenses associated with pubStudio. A development license is required to convert content to the pubStudio format, and a runtime license is required to distribute the converted files. Developers can convert their own content or perform conversions for other companies that own content.

The developers license costs $3500 and allows you to build unlimited titles. If you don't intend to create a lot of titles, there is no need to get a development license...you can contract with us or another developer to do your builds.

A runtime license is required for each title distributed, and is priced according to the maximum number of CD-ROMs being distributed, or the maximum number of people who will be authorized to view the titles on the Web.

We can be pretty flexible in coming up with a license structure that meets your needs.
